About Stay Salty Charters.

Captained by Captain Charles Baker — a guy who believes the best memories are made on the water and the best days end with a full cooler and a tired crew.

Why Stay Salty Charters

At Stay Salty Charters, we believe the best memories are made on the water. We fish hard, we treat people right, and we keep the day laid-back, action-packed, and worth showing up for.

Meet the Captain

Captain Charles Baker.

Captain Charles runs Stay Salty Charters out of Port Aransas, fishing the productive bays, flats, marshes, and back lakes from Port Aransas down through Rockport and Aransas Pass. Patient with beginners, family-friendly, and built around hospitality — every trip is tailored to the group on the boat that day.

Matthew 5:13 — the verse on the logo. A reminder that life is meant to be lived with flavor, the kind of flavor only the salt water gives back.

The Boat

A 23′ Majek bay boat, built for it.

Trips run aboard a 23' Majek bay boat — purpose-built to comfortably navigate shallow flats, marsh systems, and open bay water while providing a smooth ride for anglers and families alike.

On the water, we fish however the day calls for it — light tackle, drifting, popping corks, and sight-fishing the flats when conditions cooperate.

How We Run Charters

Fun, hospitality, and fish.

Three things we hold the day to.

Family-friendly first

Kids, beginners, and seasoned anglers all welcome — patience, hands-on instruction, and a relaxed atmosphere keep the trip enjoyable for everyone aboard.

Built around the day

Every trip is customized around conditions, tides, and seasonal fish movement — not a script. We work the water the way the water tells us to.

Real hospitality

Stay Salty is about more than catching fish. It's about enjoying the outdoors, making memories with the people you brought, and doing it with a captain who actually cares how the day goes.
